Our schools’ ministry programmes facilitate prayer activities, Bible studies and the promotion of sound Christian doctrine amongst Christian prayer groups at numerous primary & high schools.
The majority of our school programmes are at schools in previously disadvantaged communities.
Our campus programmes facilitate fellowship programmes on various university campuses, on-campus evangelism, hosting Christian social events and a Christian presence in matters pertaining to students.
Our campus ministry programmes are run through independent university branches and student executives.
Our associates’ programme is comprised of adult supporters and university alumni who seek to improve the work of student ministry and remain connected as a Christian family.
This is run in the form of associates core groups per province and seeks to ensure associates meet on a regular basis for prayer, ministry support and to stay in touch with their respective university branches.
Our Short-Term Ministry programme allows individuals to dedicate one year of their life to explore the possibility of becoming a full-time ministry staff worker. This programme provides training to ministry interns and exposes them to the working reality of everyday ministry work.
Full-time staff are involved in the day-to-day running of SCO operations across the various sections (schools, universities and associates groups).

Twice a decade, we gather as a collective for our national gathering. This confernece seeks to bring together the SCO movement in one centreplace for engagement, unity and development.
The conference regularly rotates provinces and is inclusive of all SCO sections, leaders, staff and delegates from across various schools and university fellowships.
Our Provincial Events embrace local regional activities across ministry sections.
These include conferences, combined prayer events, camps/retreats and workshops often organised by our Provincial Executive Committees (PECs) or regional steering committees (schools, associates or higher institution section committees).
This is supportive body of the organisation, often refered to as "associates" whether, an alumni or a general adult supporter. These are individuals who are proud to associate themselves with the work of student ministry by being mentors, prayer warriors and financial contributors to the work of ministry across these respective spaces.
Our associates often gather as small groups for local fellowships and continue to show their support.
Our Higher Institution Section (HIS) branches across universities and TVET colleges gather for mass fellowship and Bible studies, through regular set prayer times in accordance to their institutional capabilities.
This can often be seen as weekly fellowships on Fridays or Sundays, or through evening prayers at residences. As lead by the Branch Executive Committee (BEC) of the respective branch, this may equally see additional programs such as outings (hikes or beach trips), evangelic missions or specfic concerts and prayer events.
Our Schools section is supported by teachers who help ensure that opportunties for lunch time prayers and devotions are offered to the Lord.
Through the help of these devoted learners, the schools sections equally sees the empowerment of young leaders through leadership camp retreats and after-school Christian activities.
Our leadership training and short term in mission empowerment program (STEM) allows for the development of future leaders to help steward the work of the SCO ministry and the church at large.
Leadership training activities are frequently planned for set-time periods upon the adoption of a new executive commitee, whilst STEM members are recruited to work for a fixed time period through the guidance and mentorship of our full-time SCO staff.
