Student Pass

Our 2021 National Conference will be held at the SOS Wildlife Campsite in Villersdorp, Western Cape.

The student pass grants access to university and tertiary college SCO delegates to attend. This excludes adults (i.e. lecturers or university staff), who would require an adult/associates pass for access.

The conference pass includes:

  • Four (4) night stay within the campsite dormitory.
  • Meals for the duration of the conference:
      • 4 x Breakfast, served on dates: 12th – 15th Dec,
      • 4 x Lunch, served on dates: 12th – 15th Dec, &
      • 5 x Supper, served on dates: 11th – 15th Dec,
  • Access to on-site conference activities namely plenary sessions, breakout sessions and games.

Delegates are requested to bring along their own bedding for the stay. Transport to be arranged by respective province or branch and is not included in the conference cost/ticket.

The SCO National Conference seeks to gather SCO members from past, present and future under one roof as we celebrate 125 years of student ministry and engage upon what SCO was, is and will yet become.

Held in the world-popular tourist region of the Cape Winelands, near Cape Town, the conference seeks to accommodate all SCO learners, students, alumni and supporters.

It marks the events of 1896, when the Students’ Christian Association (SCA) first emerged through the work of global missionaries at the nearby Stellenbosch University – with a vision to what the SCO of today and of the future shall embody.
